Quartz is the choice of many homeowners and is unrivaled in durability and is maintenance free.  Quartz products come in a wide variety of color, pattern, size, shape and shade.  Finishes range from glossy to matte and honed.  There is a good variety of solid color, natural stone look from marble to granite and small and large quartz chip patterns.  Quartz is structurally more resistant to surface damage than natural stone; are non porous and require no sealant to prevent staining.  Care is as simple as cleaning with warm water and a pH neutral non-abrasive cleaner.  Quartz is very resistant to heat and scratches but is NOT heat and scratch proof.  Trivets and cutting boards are recommended.   If your project requires seams, please note that the seams will be noticeable to the eye and touch.
